British Hallmarks

After an item is completed, we send it to the London Assay Office, as all British jewellers are required by law to be registered there. At the Assay Office, the metals are tested for quality, determining if they are sterling silver, gold, or platinum. Once testing is complete, each piece is stamped with a full set of British Hallmarks (for a detailed explanation, see the accompanying information). Any items that do not pass are destroyed to prevent them from being sold, ensuring that you receive authentic sterling silver, gold, or platinum.

While the 925 stamp is recognized globally, it does not offer any guarantees since these metals are not tested by a government authority. In fact, the 925 stamp is applied by the jeweller themselves.
