British Hallmarks

Once an item is finished , we send it to the London Assay Office (by law all British jewellers have to be registered )where the metals are tested for quality (sterling silver, gold or platinum). Once the metals have been tested the ASSAY OFFICE will stamp. Each piece with a full set of British HALLMARKS (See details explanation) Failed items are destroyed to avoid being sold. This insures that you are buying genuine sterling silver, gold or platinum.

The 925 stamp is used worldwide but it is not a guarantee at all because the metals are not tested by a government office. The 925 stamp is actually stamped by the jeweller himself.
